I agree. Recruiting at IU shouldn’t be too bad though. It’s a lot different trying to convince a recruit to go to Butler compared to IU. It’s like Roy at UNC, K at Duke, Self at Kansas and Calipari at UK. Those are the four elite programs that IU should be on par with once again. Once those coaches started winning at said programs, the recruiting took care of itself. That’s what Stevens could be at IU

I listened to the Brad interview...he kind of played it off. He didn't really answer the question until the end and said "I am not". Take it for what it's worth.

I have not heard that number specifically. I  think you need to be at 7 million to get Brad

I put very little stock in any interview until Dolson comes out and names the next coach. I still think the chances of Stevens coming are very, very remote, but when asked about it -- what else would he say? Whether he has it in the back of his mind as an option or not, he's not gonna want to be fielding questions on it every night -- so of course he's gonna deny interest or say he's committed to the Celtics. 

When put in these situations, coaches deny interest in other jobs all the time -- I never put much stock in those denials.
