MemphisHoosier Posted March 12, 2021 Posted March 12, 2021 Mentally I am preparing for CAM to be the coach next year, bring in a small army of transfers and for the team to finish b/w 7th-11th in the B1G. There are millions (!) of reasons to support this deep seeded fear - please prove me wrong Scott. Alford Bailey, lillurk, cthomas and 2 others 5

No one wants to fire their best friend. It makes things awkward I would think if anything it's more likely at this point that Dolson might be unofficially consulting w/ Alford regarding Steve's opinion of some other coaches he's coached against, and how they might fare at IU lillurk and Chris007 2
Popular Post Alford Bailey Posted March 12, 2021 Popular Post Posted March 12, 2021 Hey, this coaching search is gonna be a cake walk for Dolson. All the top candidates will be in town for a couple weeks! Hoosierfan2017, Chris007, VO5 and 6 others 9

I doubt it moved the needle, because my guess was Dolson was already planning to Do It, but a real stinker like tonight sure makes you feel good about your decision if you’d made up your mind.

I agree with you on the in-game results probably not mattering to the admin, but do you see the fan reaction in the arena as moving the needle a bit or at least changing the tone for SD?
IUc2016 Posted March 12, 2021 Posted March 12, 2021 I feel like I’m being punked. Waiting for Ashton Kutcher to show up.I’m waiting for brad. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Chris007, Defenserocks28 and Ryno6284 2 1
Bowhunter Posted March 12, 2021 Posted March 12, 2021 The only thing that I feel good about is that at the time he was announced, I called the Archie Miller Hire a major disappointment. My exact word were I feel like I’ve just been kicked in the nuts! Well, I still feel that way 4 seasons later.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners JaybobHoosier 1
LamarCheeks Posted March 12, 2021 Posted March 12, 2021 TBH, I want no part of Scott Drew. Just seems to be something sorta sleazy about him. But as I've written before, I thought Crean and Archie were good hires and thought Allen and Moren were bad hires -- so what the hell do I know? I can't help but wonder, though: Dolson is reportedly pretty tight with RMK, who I believe butted heads with Drew when RMK was at Texas Tech. Plus, there's the Hanner Perea incident. Those seem to be two pretty big strikes against Drew. Chris007 and cthomas 2

But before you get to those guys you have to make Brad say no multiple times. If we knocked on his door last time he didn't answer, I don't think that's been the case this time. If these are the four, who do we choose B'Town? coonhounds 1

Unexpectedflash Posted March 12, 2021 Posted March 12, 2021 Hopefully the next coach can manage to go better than 2-22 against Purdue, OSU, UM, and Wisky and not lose 6 of 7 to powerhouses like Rutgers. I know it's a tall task MemphisHoosier, JaybobHoosier, Chris007 and 1 other 4
