That was the biggest takeaway for me too. I wanted to believe the smoke from earlier this week. 

(And before anyone says it again, I believe Goodman. Sue me for believing the national guy even if I don’t like him)

Agreed. Although I'm hoping that the rumors that Dolson "had his man" were right, but that that guy was Few (I've ruled Brad out at this point...just think there'd be more smoke from non IU insiders at this point if he was effectively committed to taking the job).

I completely get the skepticism and why.  His style isn’t like that in a situation like that if he didn’t hear first hand or from the agent.  So I choose to believe that tidbit unfortunately.

Haha. I’ll admit if I’m wrong. But too many coincidences lead me to believe this is and has been done for a few weeks.

How has a done deal with the sitting President of Basketball Operations for the Boston Celtics not been leaked? Especially if it’s been done for a few weeks?

If Goodman truly doesn’t have sources that have good info, he’s a real idiot for posting a definitive list of who it won’t be.  Chances are, he’s got decent info, & the leaks that start to come out are meant to soften the blow of a disappointing or polarizing hire…
