college athletics is now professional sports with revenue sharing and NIL. I say this as someone who thinks what Beard “allegedly” did as terrible. The players are literally getting paid to play, the definition of professional sports.

And I thought 25 years of losing and 6 head coaches would cause that.  At least that’s what I was told with each coach.  Good news.  Dolson still has a blank check for the basketball program with donors who are more worried about wins at this point.  Those are the people Dolson is trying to impress.

He doesn’t have a blank check for Beard. I know of a couple donors who aren’t chipping in plus less NIL

Can’t convince me it’s Beard at this point. The people we seemingly trust the least have said they have no idea what SD is thinking and they’re the ones who threw out Beards name. 
 

I’ll be first to acknowledge Beard would win games but I really just don’t see IU hiring him.
