No figuring out what SITUS means

Bottom Line: "Situs Situs Situs" = Location is Everything

If this is about Brad Stevens, the post is likely making a point that:

  1. If Stevens ever returns to college basketball, it will be because of location.
  2. Indiana (IU) is the only place that makes sense.
  3. The job is "on the market," and IU should do whatever it takes to get him.

How? The stipulations in the contract he signed have drastically changed. He could argue that he would have resigned on the spot had he known UCLA was moving to the B10 and he'd be away from home for a week at a time every other week.

Your example is not a contract stipulation. That is a change in his situation, not a change in the contract. Unless the contract guarantees that he will never have to travel more than 500 miles for a game, he doesn’t have a legal leg to stand on.

So you think there’s some magic loophole where UCLA forgot to include the possibility of switching conferences?

I have great news for you! His contract is publicly available here: https://ca-times.brightspotcdn.com/7d/fa/56435b2f41b28b5f3575b651cf8b/micks-2022-contract.pdf

Cannot wait for his contract interpretation.

I’m here for the Brad memes. Could you take the lawyer talk to the…..lawyer talk thread?

This is the candidate thread...of which Brad Stevens is not.

Per the meaning of "the place where something exists or originates", I was hoping it meant something even more pointed.

Like "Brad's current location is Bloomington".

Lots of Otz talk.

Anything from Trilly himself? Otz would be such a home run. It does seem like there’s more chatter here but maybe it’s just because Goodman floated him on that podcast.
