I don't think UCLA is going to voluntarily lower his buyout without pushback, no. But Cronin, via his agent and lawyer, has a legitimate case to sue UCLA because nothing in his current contract when he signed his extension says anything about UCLA switching conferences and flying 2000 miles and being on the road for a week at a time every other week. Rather than going to court, UCLA could ultimately agree to a reduced buyout.

RTZ said it was always Stevens. Since then a new poster has come out and said IU will be looking at black coaches with Woodson leaving and Minnesotas coach on the hot seat leaving no black head coaches in the league. 
 

Norman has a direct contact into the process, but that contact hasn’t told him anything. He speculates what is said to him and has said IU won’t get a big name, even though he hasn’t been told that. Also unusual in this instance, is that this direct person in the process hasn’t told him to be quiet. 
 

chris, gp and iufb still suggest Stevens hasn’t said no and neither has anyone else for that matter. 
 

oh and DMV is still pushing Mark Turgeon and says he’s 1 of 6 finalist.

The thing I remember most about my CFP experience was the drive from the 465 interchange to South Bend taking what felt like 8 years. Bloomington to there under 2.5 is insane and I'm assuming that's pre-Kokomo bypass?

The number of people who are aware that IU is a storied program is dwindling every day. The last national title occurred when I was in Jr. High school. I'm a grandfather now. IU is going to have to get real about bringing the program back to respectability, and sometimes that means taking risks that you otherwise wouldn't. That's not to say that I'm a Wade fan, just that I don't feel IU is in a position to turn their nose up at any really good coach.
