He was probably hunting someone like he does 18 foot fadeaways.

Yeah I think it’s possible he’s eventually a good player but he’s going to need to learn what a good shot is, and he has even less of an idea than most frosh.

I have no idea about his attitude except what you can see watching a game, but his current coach encourages his worst tendencies offensively.

All I know is the next coach better not have even a parking ticket on his resume!
That's why it's going to be bronwell. Then we will hear no big names wanted to come as we passed on...

Beard
Drew
Pitino
Pearl

The number one priority is to be pure as the driven snow and only then can we look at the resume. Schools like aburn and st johns win because they know most have skeletons in the closet. Not iu though. Once we had illegal text messages that was the killer.

Some interesting info from Rabjohns. He said that he doesn't think any school paid more than $2M buyout to hire a coach in the last 5 cycles.

I hope IU doesn't go cheap and rule out a really good coach that they have a chance of hiring because the buyout is, say, $4M instead of $2M or less.

Interesting.  Kentucky tried with Drew and Hurley, but they said no.  I suspect paying larger buyouts is just naturally rare because only 10 to 20 schools would pay a big buyout, and those schools usually aren’t hiring coaches, and when they are hiring they may be internal hires (Duke) or just get No’s (UK).

Personally I don’t worry that we will go cheap.  I worry more about getting a “Yes.”  Just my $0.02.

I was sitting in row 2 behind the bench and my wife literally thought Tucker was going to attack someone. He had that look in his eye

I think Tucker is a good kid but he’s surrounded by some less than helpful noise. Unfortunately that noise may be never too far away.

I don’t think teams let him he’s just really good at it lol

If you let him do his thing he is good at it.  But no one ever seems to make adjustments and it is really good coaches.  Izzo and painter both just let him score.  Never changed anything.  And it isn't like Indiana can just kill you from the 3 pt line.  THen I would understand it more.

Has Few ever laid hands on a woman before? Generally asking as I haven't heard that. If he has, yes absolute non-starter.

I'm not here to measure sin. If Beard is a no-go because he is untrustworthy, the same should be applied to Few (I thought he had multiple DUIs?)... as far as I know, Few has not had an altercation with a woman that resulted in charges being dropped.

I do not think Brad Stevens is going to be the new head coach but I don't know how that all is going to play out. Certainly not with any level of confidence. I would be VERY surprised if Bryson Tucker or Mackenzie Mgbako are on IU's roster next season.

Tucker's dad is allegedly shopping him around for more PT... but not sure if his beef is with Woodson or with IU... And agree, I don't see Mgbako back next year.

So ir seems after doing the morality test the only options left are..

Bronwell
Cronin??
Michael Lewis
Ben mccollum
Josh Schertz

Pretty crappy list imo but given we can't touch anyone with a skeleton that's what's left. May is gone. Thanks quinn.

I'm pretty convinced at this point it won't be a big name.

Do have to give Reneau some credit — he plays through contact and finishes well for a mostly below rim big.

I have no idea why, but I like Malik.
