Thanks for the welcome.

Wanted to share some data I put together using Torvik. Here are the rankings for a bunch of the coaches I've seen mentioned for the IU job among *active* coaches across 3 time frames: since the 07-08 season (as far back as Torvik goes), since the 21-22 season (NIL era, also since Woodson was hired) and this season. Lots of caveats apply: this is just team efficiency and doesn't take into account tournament success for example. Also, I pulled this data across the past week or so and the rankings may have shifted very slightly.

Yeah dude those guys are weird.

Loved their interview with Crean, 100% because of Crean. They get some good guests. But that's pretty much the only positive about them. Can't stand their antics, and Eric gets way too weird on the boards. I don't know why Rabby wants them affiliated with Peegs.

They should never have been given the access to the program that they were, and I hope that with the next head coach they are kept at arm's length. For everyone's sake.

 Eric was throwing a little hissy fit about Mgbako the other night after the Purdue game basically saying he hopes the new coach kicks him to the curb and saying hes bad for the program both on and off the court. And they aren't re-upping his deal and he was getting blasted for it LOL was a little cringe for my taste I get they get paid but still a 19 year old kid who is gonna have ups and downs playing college hoops thats just my opinion.

I could be wrong, but I don’t remember anyone requesting information that BS isn’t coming UNTIL people had it shoved in their faces.

If you’re going to lecture about people believing without evidence but don’t provide proof yourself, you’re asking for blowback. Besides, this is a FREE message board. What the hell - why not let people dream until we actually find out who the coach is, Brad Stevens or not?

Rabby's made his bed with them and he's suffering the consequences now. Totally frozen out of the athletic department source-wise. He still gets some good recruiting info because of his ties to the in-state AAU and HS circuit. He's toast otherwise and the frustration is starting to show on his board.

Perfectly put. It’s crazy they still have them as staff members on there considering their podcast has no substance now.

That interview had me missing Crean tbh. He really brought us back from the dead and would have loved if he could have gotten it done.

I've assumed this to be the case for a while. No doubt their podcast in which they told all sorts of "behind closed doors" stories about Woody last off-season was the final nail in the coffin.

Whether or not Woodson's behavior was out of line, that just isn't the sort of dirty laundry you publicly air about your coach until AT LEAST after he's been fired. Eric allowed his personal feud with Woodson to cloud his judgment on the matter, and it has clearly affected Rabby's ability to do his job. He effectively knows nothing more about the inner goings-on of the program than Trilly or anyone else. It's sad to see what's happened.

To be clear, I'm not defending Woodson in the slightest. He deserves a lot of criticism. But the crew over at Peegs was far too vocal with their criticism of him. I'm all for telling the truth and whatnot, but they burned a lot of bridges. It was only a matter of time until their sources dried up.

I still have my Peegs subscription because I get Paramount+ with it and frankly it's a great deal, especially with March Madness coming up. But the downfall of Peegs is truly sad.

Is this ranking a combined O and D efficiency? 3 things stand out to me. 1) how much more effective TJ has been since NIL 2) Cronin has been pretty consistent 3) Drew has been good regardless of circumstances until this year.

I got a year deal with Peegs for 75% off so don't get included in that anymore, but we did get a Walmart+ subscription for a different reason which I found also comes with Paramount+ perk. Not sure if I will renew Peegs after this year. Would rather pay for Trilly discord at this point.
