Also the nba waiver deadline is 3/1.  Perhaps he wants to solely work in his GM capacity until then?

Because they have bigger fish to fry like this or the Luka trade back in Feb? In the grand scheme of things is Bostons GM leaving for a college coaching job as big of a deal nationally to the NBA ? I don’t follow the NBA enough I guess . 
 

Also feel like Bill Belichek going UNC was a bigger deal than if Stevens comes to IU (Stevens never won a championship and has coach in college before) . Don’t remember that getting leaked ? Just saying to NBA guys maybe the rumors aren’t really worth their time

But I do think the rest of the Celtics don’t care much at all. They’re much more worried about the new owner. He has tons of connections, and any young coach would kill to work with him—see Shrewsburry, Norad, and so on. 
 

Not trying to cause any drama here, and I understand the attachment to former players. But if we get Brad, and I know we probably won’t, but if we do, I think he would be thinking bigger. 

I think Jordy & Cody are very well-liked in the AAU circles around the state. Both players are big with Indiana Elite

Fair point. I like local connections, too, and Brad had a lot hires with local ties at Butler. But his Rolodex is bigger now. Seems like the potential for the perfect mix of old and new could happen!

I Don’t do Trilly discord so I don’t know.   I just saw the Texas board and their insider said Drew to IU was the talk.   Who knows.  I will try to find a link to it if it isn’t premium when I get a chance
