I had forgotten part of this story from last time until Goodman's name came up today.  I never saw this confirmed but it was rumored on around March 20th/21st that we had offered the job to Thad but he failed a physical.  There were a lot of rumors about this and then Goodman tweets out this photo and we all discussed Matta's foot, that wrap and whether it was clear he was fine or still had problems.  Would be curious to hear if we actually did offer him the job or not.  Was this an effort by Dolson to not end up with Woody that did not work out?  Anyone else remember this?  

The rumors were refuted by someone at IU but I would too if it looked like Woody did not have Dolson's support.

Better than Woodson, but he is doing nothing at Butler, currently.

Long time listener first time caller ........... not an insider sorry to disappoint.

I wanna believe as much as the next person Stevie to IU BUT of course I'm very skeptical.

I'm wondering if it is indeed NOT Brad what the infamous "reason" will be this time around? aka the "3-1 family vote of 2021"

If I had to guess I bet it will "come out" brad met with his son after the Louisville game on All Star weekend he became very impassioned by Micah Shrewberry post game rant and is committed to helping turn Notre Dame around. A Big part of the selling point for Stevens was the chance to coach his son at IU who now wants to stay at ND or something to that affect haha it is a fun wave to ride until to comes crashing down Oh well might as well enjoy nothing else to do as this search drags out. 

I will say I did notice and thought it was interesting about the coordinated media discussion yesterday about IU hiring the search firm, I assumed they were doing that anyway given the timing of the search clearly multiple media people were asked to put out there and discuss it.

If you actually watch the X's and O's are good. The problem is they have limited money. It's gotten a little better in the last year but still isn't great. Only 3 of their 5 starters are big east caliber because they can't afford anyone. They do have a good HS class coming in though.

44-47 is tough to defend
