I think he's not coming, but this thread is entirely for speculation. People will parse every bit of available info.

If you want a shot at May the earlier Stevens is out of the picture, the better. May isn’t going to wait around until mid April to play footsie with IU.

Well it went from verbal agreement and having a guarantee to not a candidate pretty quick.

4 years ago nobody wanted to believe Stevens' first answer about not being a candidate. Fast forward to now and same thing. Fool me once shame on me, fool me twice shame....uh shame on.....ummmm don't be a fool. I won't say anything else regarding Brad.

I'm not sure what else you would expect Stevens to say (even if he really has got a contract in hand). Its always a denial until it's official. Not saying it will be official, but he said exactly what I would have said.
