If he weren't from Evansville, I can almost guarantee you he wouldn't be on anyone's list. SlammySammy Posted February 8 Posted February 8 Hoping for some transparency at the end of the search so we know who Dolson went after and who turned us down….if we end up with Mike Lewis, I want to know what number he was on Dolson list and I think that’s ok to ask since he is a public employee…who did you talk with and who did you not talk with and why? If we get some guy the casuals never heard of, we did something wrong somewhere along the way OR we fans need to be hit with the facts in the face…if it’s nobody big wants to come to IU, just tell us…

We don't need to win the press conference for recruiting and status. We need a coach that can build culture, identify the right players, is a tireless worker and knows his X's and O's. For the first time, we just need a basketball coach, someone that lives and breaths the game. If IU can find that in a "home run hire" then great, but winning the press conference isn't a requirement this time IMO. We just need a basketball coach that wins games.
