The worst type of person is the one that throws shade or hate at anyone for believing in something. Who cares if people want to keep their BS dream alive? I can’t think of any aspect of my life where a decent person you’d be so adamant to shoot down someone’s beliefs no matter how extreme or far fetched they might be. And to take the time on a message board. Pretty pathetic.

That’s fair. IMO the simplest explanation is the most likely. I get it’s fun to hope and by all means, it’s people’s right. I’m not chastising that as much as the people like GP and BehindtheBench who are new here, pretend to be insiders with weird smiley faces and tantrums, then get all indignant when called out. People can believe whatever they want about Stevens. The people who act like these new “insiders” do, are gonna get push back and hear about it when/if they are wrong. Can’t expect people to not press for details when things they say don’t make sense / are inconsistent from one post to the next.

I'd consider Drew a homerun. To me you don't move on from Woodson mid year to target McCollum or Devries, but the last 25 years has shown IU is anything but well run so it wouldn't surprise me
