IvanRenkosillegitimatechild Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Talked to my buddy who was on Scott Drew’s coaching staff and now I know why Drew isn’t leaving….. Baylor is going to have $10m in NIL next year. That’s INSANE. JPCIVOP, 8bucks, Asha’man and 4 others 5 1 1

Talked to someone who directly talked to a players parent within the last couple of days. Parent told them Scott had said to "TOTALLY tune out all the noise you're hearing, nobody knows anything this time around and they won't until the announcement is made". Sounds like this parent felt very confident in Scott's stance and thinks it will be a great hire and felt like things might be done. Now obviously Scott will be sending that message, but I'll just keep my fingers crossed and hope that we're heading for a good ending to this drama. Hoping beyond hope that this is 100% true. I have no reason to think you're lying but you're relatively new here (as am I, not throwing shade) so I have to take it with a grain of salt. Chris007 1

He has it made down in Waco, he was never a candidate. Waco has money down there, Baylor Basketball goes hand in hand with Church there. thebigweave and JPCIVOP 2

IUHAHN81 Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Remember when RTZ posted the "We got him" video. Then the "It's dead" post. Followed by the Undertaker GIF? Thinking about setting up a doc appointment to get on some mood stabilizers. Geez Louise! HoosierSadaseci, Hornsby, Chris007 and 2 others 4 1

I suspect with the rev share starting next year they are quoting NIL + rev share. Still, that has to be top-5ish, wow. JPCIVOP and go iu bb 2

OliviaPope40 Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Did not see anybody hanging out at IU Bloomington Hospital doing a tour. Was down close to campus today. No Gallo or Leal sighting either.
#1fanofafrin Posted March 11 Posted March 11 From the earlier coach poll we had the following results; If you had to pick one of these three, who would it be? I like Buzz a great deal, but lean Ben to possible upside.

When someone like RTZ quotes $7M NIL, I'm not sure if that is just NIL or NIL + rev share. NIL alone likely. Most men’s programs are going to allocate 5 - 8 million in revenue sharing. Rest to Football, WBB, on rev sports. lillurk 1
