How weak are we gonna look as a program with all we have to offer if at the end of all of this we end up hiring Brownell! I'm gonna be honest, that's a laughable situation if it happens. I'll be beyond upset and disappointed to where I just laugh but that's just me.

If this is somehow ruining march madness I say take a step back from this. Our hoosiers are looking to make the tournament and this is supposed to be the best time for basketball fans. Hopefully we hire a good coach but please don't let this ruin march madness!

Behind the bench specifically called out two posters and called them emotional when they don’t get their way, said they will look a little silly when the plan “ultimately comes together.” … nothing about that sounds like asking people to calm down and enjoy the ride to me. 

I’m not calling him or any of the guys you mentioned delusional for thinking Stevens could come/sharing what they’re hearing. I’m calling behind the bench delusional for being irrationally smug about the idea of him being right and the doubters wrong. The guy just turned up on this board with a bunch of bold proclamations, then softened on them, and gets very defensive when that’s pointed out. He approaches this very differently than guys like Chris, Jerry, and AP who have been around for years. You can question the accuracy of their info but they’re also regular posters here, not just playing “insider” like a lot of these new accounts then getting their feelings hurt when questioned.

To be fair, UK and UofL fans likely thought similar, and who they landed wasn’t near the top of lists, but both did pretty well given the results so far.

I’ll give anyone a shot who comes in. Obviously would be initially more excited by certain hires but I’ll basically given anyone that gets Dolson stamp a chance. I’ll be optimistic until they give me a reason to be otherwise.
