Thanks for passing that along, interesting to hear from someone who is acquainted even if vaguely. Personally I prefer a moderate amount of psycho in my HC, so I’m very down for a guy with a chip on his shoulder.

Brownell would make $4million+ for the next few years at Clemson, so if we're looking to be budget friendly McCollum would be a far better fit.

Yea.  The people I know keep saying Scott is talking to absolutely no one, not even the big timers (which is great). May just be Scott, Pam, and one lawyer in the know.

Worth noting in the article where McCasland tells that story, he said he tried to find a retort for McCollum’s offense and couldn’t. He then credits McCollum for helping change trajectory of his North Texas team. Big jump in their offensive numbers after adopting some of Ben’s stuff. For all the talk of needing a personality that can handle this place, I take stories like these as positive indicators that hes got the chops for that. Doesn’t give me pause for a moment personally.

Clemson has 4 double digit scorers on their team. They're all seniors so unless some of them have eligibility for a medical redshirt (I haven't looked) he's not bringing any stars with him. I've also read that it takes time for players to learn his system.
