You missed the middle Segue of “we want him cause Woody is the coach he needs, and we will have the fastest backcourt in the NCAAs”. It was a 2 day segue.

Fan base gets in its own way whenever it comes to recruiting too much in my opinion.    Love a couple days wasn’t a legitimate option nor did most want him.   Multiple places say Missouri is probably team to beat.  Home state school for him. IU shows interest and it gets reported of the interest.   Zoom call gets set up to gauge interest.   Evidently interest wasn’t  there and now some in fanbase loses mind over a recruitment that 2 days ago nobody was interested in.    Portal recruiting is going to be fun just to follow other people following it. 

Simply amazing isn't it. The sky is falling! Lol

I brushed over that one. It's crazy how quickly we turn.
We have a chance, possibly leading - he's a great contribution, backcourt will be great, etc.
He's not coming - he wants too many shots, he's not a good player anymore, he can go tank another team, etc.

I wouldn't say it's that simple.  I don't see many people on here that were in support of getting him now posting that they don't want him.  It was basically one group of people posting that they wanted him -- me included -- and a different group of posters saying they would happy if we don't get him.  

But I really haven't seen anyone going from 'I want him but now that it looks like he isn't coming I never wanted him'.
