I think he will make a visit here after finals week. Which is this week for Harvard

I thought Harvard had semesters and not quarters. If so, no way they're having finals mid March. Do you mean midterms? If he's visiting after finals it will be May.

You might be right, I just read that he is studying for finals this week and won't talk about recruiting until it's over

Josh Cohen's games against power 5 teams this year:

Butler:  37 minutes, 8/14 from the field, 7 rebounds, 18 points

Ohio State:  34 minutes, 8/16 from the field, 10 rebounds, 18 points

Miami (F):  38 minutes, 10/16 from the field, 9 rebounds, 30 points.

Three game totals:  109 minutes, 26/46 from the field, 26 rebounds, 66 points.

So doubt that B1G teams would be licking their chops.

Fair enough, that is good info. I've never heard of him before and was going off the video clip, which was embarrassingly bad, IMO.

Based on Harvard’s academic calendar, this is the last week of the first half of the term, and some courses only run half term (this is pretty typical at a large university). So Ledlum probably has a class or two that end this week.

Next week is their spring break.

Itd be sweet to lock him up asap

What’s the deal on this guy? Basketball reference says he’s 6’6” forward. 18.8pt 8.5rbs 1.5asst 1.8stls 1.1blks. Harvard was 14-14 this past year.

Not many high majors on the schedule. He went for 30 and 9 with 5 steals against loyola and 17 and 9 with 5 turnovers vs Kansas.

I think race Thompson with a better shot, better defensively, and probably smarter. He's been offered by pretty much everyone, but I think we will have a chance. He only has one more year not two like we previously thought. He played better against Kansas than our whole team. Were going to get a few guys from the portal so he will fit a couple of needs if we get him.

Is he a better shot though?  His FT% is the same and his 2P% is worse.  3P% is better but still sub 30%.

EDIT: Maybe call shooting a wash but I wouldn't go further than that.

I'm going by my eye, and I think so. Now I'm legally blind without my glasses but we don't need to get into all of that.

I'm just hesitant to say he's a better shot when his numbers don't support.  It's possible he performs better; Zeisloft shot better his first year at IU than he ever had in his career (2nd year was same as his previous best) and Kopp statistically shot better than ever this season.

I think he looks the part of a slightly shorter/more athletic Race. Looking at his shooting numbers you can't just rely on the percentages to tell the whole story.

For comparison: Chris MADE more 3's, 2's, and FT's THIS SEASON ALONE than Race ATTEMPTED in 4 of his 5 seasons while at IU.

Doesn't that just mean he's a high-volume, low-efficiency shooter?

Obviously he has some skills....but we don't need a stockier version of Bracey Wright hoisting up 25 shots a game.
