The U Miami player? 

I guess he is a good choice to round out an extended rotation roster spot, but I'm not seeing what he is good at. Is he a good fit for leadership/personality?

It honestly makes no sense why we need another 6'9 dude.

Per insider(s), the belief is that there are parts of his game that could be unlocked in Woody's system. A more athletic, ball handling 4 wouldn't be the worst thing. A few clips I saw he can definitely put it on the floor. He made Race look like he was standing still a couple times in the NCAA tourney.

It'd be one thing if he could shoot, he can't.  Statistically he was about as productive as Jordan Geronimo.

We have two (for sure) and maybe three spots to fill. Another 6'9" guy that is mature and isn't afraid of being thrown into a P5 game would be good, especially if it is understood that the role would potentially be at the 4/5 behind Ware, Reneau, and Sparks.

As a fourth choice at the 4/5? We're not going to get someone that has been playing 30 mpg somewhere else.

I agree with most of what you've said here, the only guy he is currently "behind" if he were to come to IU would be Reneau.

4th post, depth piece. If he is coming here just to be a Vet and play behind the first 3... that's solid. He can at least create off the bounce better than Race. 

PLUS... just a one year rental. Find a wing/wing or wing/combo to fill out the final two roster spots and we are solid!

This isn't to be rude, but what else would he be? 

I also don't feel comfortable with only having--- Sparks, MR, and KW that are true big guys. I do think Banks can play some 4, but we needed another guy.

Going to admit this doesn't make much sense but I don't hate it as long as they plan on taking two more players. I sure hope they are focused on guys who will back out of the NBA draft..

You're comfortable with only Sparks, Ware, and MR on the roster that have the capability of guarding someone 6'7 or taller?

Why doesn't it make sense? We literally need a depth piece at the 4/5 spot.
