Hoping the big ten sends a message to the refs to screw over Wisconsin so they can get another team ranked in the top 25. Got my tin foil hat on

If the last 20 years have taught us anything, at least one, if not more, of the following usually happens when we play at Wisconsin:

1) We go from one media timeout to another without scoring.

2) We hear a comment from the broadcaster about Wisconsin and how "this is the best they've looked all year."

3) Some walk-on Amish kid from a little house in the big woods comes out of nowhere and goes 5/6 from deep, we hear about how it's the "coming out party" for the fine young man, and then he's never heard from again.

4) One of our bigs will be mugged/hilariously murdered on a rebound with no whistle, probably at a crucial point late in the game.

5) We play well for a stretch, then start getting hit with those annoying "nickel-dimer" fouls that get Wisconsin back in it. 

 

Any combination of these will likely happen at some point today.

Wiscy is the epitome of the “tough until they’re not” teams. They’ll grab, hack, cut, elbow, shove, etc. until the refs just give up. On the other end they’ll trick you into their physicality only to go flailing across the court when you barely touch them.

Wiscy doesn’t beat you by out-athleting you. They beat you with hustle, smarts, and getting away with murder.

We need to be focused and smart. We need to pound it inside and force the Big Ten to call fouls. We can’t get into Wiscy‘a style and leave the Kohl’s Center with a W.

Beat the Badgers back into the 80s and 90s where they belong.

Big Ten has a love affair with Wisconsin for some reason. They don’t like Indiana. That’s my conspiracy.
