cthomas Posted November 21, 2019 Posted November 21, 2019 Brunk was a great addition to this team. His defense was on point and the points were within the offense. I especially like the way our frontcourt plays off each other. At this point, we have a very unselfish team. Hoosier DaDa, BGVille Hoosierfan, Str8Hoosiers and 3 others 6 Quote
cappymo14 Posted November 21, 2019 Posted November 21, 2019 Haha Princeton is 0-4 and terrible. This game proves nothing just like the first 4 and the next 2. Wait til they go to Wisconsin to see what they are made of.Sent from my SM-J337P using BtownBanners mobile appHold on now. I get what ur saying here but I wouldn’t use a road game in Madison as a measuring stick. Gonna drop that one badly. They were actually 4-14 in the first half and 2-13 in the second. https://iuhoosiers.com/documents/2019/11/20//IU_79_PU_54_Box_Score_PDF_.pdf hoosierdogg 1 Quote

He’s one of those guys that will be solid as a SO and JR, and then be like All Big Ten as a SR. He reminds me of Keita Bates-Diop. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners I agree with you. I still think there is a good chance of him getting his game back, after a long layoff, and really helping us this year and (as you note) go on to be very important later in his career. That being said...after reading all the Hunter comments last season, and during this off-season, I had ranked him somewhere between Lew Alcindor and Oscar Robertson in the list of all-time best college basketball players. I now realize he is probably a couple of slots behind Bill Walton and Jordan. coonhounds, ALASKA HOOSIER and Str8Hoosiers 1 2 Quote

Hoosierfan2017 Posted November 21, 2019 Posted November 21, 2019 Only got to watch the first half because I had some things I needed to get finished. Looks like I picked the wrong half to watch. Glad to see that they took care of business in the second half. Quote
Alford Bailey Posted November 21, 2019 Posted November 21, 2019 Its ok to struggle a bit against a Princeton style of play. We did what we were supposed to in the second half and pulled away. HoosierHoops1, RatpigHoosier, taco corp and 4 others 7 Quote

Feathery Posted November 21, 2019 Posted November 21, 2019 Kenpom overall rank of 30. offensive eff rank 21. defensive eff rank 50. Overall rank is currently 7th in the conference. But kenpom rankings are still in the early stages, but I enjoy watching the fluctuations. Str8Hoosiers and thebigweave 2 Quote
8bucks Posted November 21, 2019 Posted November 21, 2019 I am glad we won but i do get tired of slow starts. I would love to see is come out early and smother some of these teams. Play defense so tight and aggressive all game but especially early. I would love for an opponent to have to call early TOs to regroup his kids who have been thoroughly smothered on D. We have done some of this in part in the second half but just a little. I want to see this team come out of that tunnel at the start with an attitude and play like this means something. Now, I am not mad and am patient but our record this far is not impressive and we have let a lot of these teams hang around far too long. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Quote
