Hovadipo Posted January 17, 2020 Posted January 17, 2020 Reminds me a little bit of Sam Thompson from Ohio State ~5 years ago. Not sure if that’s a compliment or not, but it looks like Thompson is in the Hornets organization now, so maybe it is. HoosierAloha 1 Quote

Geronimo 21 pts. 8 reb. 2 blocks. 2 assists. Watched most of the stream. There was no announcer and the scoreboard was in the corner and pretty much unreadable, but it was a beating. Brewster has a team of D-1 kids and St Paul’s has 1. But Geronimo was the best athlete on the floor, better even than Clarke, just not as skilled or polished. Blocked Clarke twice at the rim, 1 was called a foul but looked clean, and Cross once. One of the quickest leapers I have ever seen. Just remarkable. Also made 3 open 3’’s. Release looks really clean, but is a hair slow at this point. Forced a lot of stuff off the bounce, no surprise given his team, and turned it over maybe half a dozen times. Not worried about that at all. Very impressive tool kit. 1 other thing: the camera wasn’t near the court, but Geronimo looked taller than Clarke, who I’ve always seen listed at 6’7”. Wonder if the kid is still growing. barrettballer, ElectricBoogaloo, BtownStrength and 21 others 23 1 Quote

HoosierAloha Posted January 19, 2020 Posted January 19, 2020 I don’t see him getting run in front of Smith and Hunter. If he can somehow play to two he might get some minutes. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Stuhoo and Napleshoosier 2 Quote

Popular Post HoosierTrav Posted January 19, 2020 Popular Post Posted January 19, 2020 I follow his pg’s dad on Twitter. He posts video of the games from floor level. Kid is developing nicely. Maybe the highest ceiling of any player I’ve ever seen. Very good from 3, lockdown defender and out of this world athleticism. Dude can damn near get his head above the rim from a flat footed start. We will like him a lot. I was skeptical of him at first but he’s starting to put it together against some really high level competition. GloryDays, Napleshoosier, HoosierAloha and 7 others 10 Quote

Not sure if that'll happen, but it's been mentioned ... Quote

Brass Cannon Posted January 19, 2020 Posted January 19, 2020 I still think we are best served with Smith moving to the 4. Phinisee Guard that can hit a shot and play D Wing the can hit a shot and play D Smith TJD At this point I don’t really care who fills in those two spots lillurk, BGleas and Jeff_Boy_Ardee 3 Quote

I haven’t looked at numbers so this could be completely wrong, but I think our best lineups are when only have 2 of TJD, Brunk, and Smith in at one time.I thinkHunter is slowing coming along, think it would help him a lot to get more minutes to get in rhythm. Would eventually love to see a lineup of:1 - Rob2 -Armaan3 - Hunter 4 - Smith5 - TJDSent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app thebigweave, HoosierAloha and KYHoosier 3 Quote

Brunk stays out there.I'd like to see Brunk's starts be matchup dependent. We need him when other teams have good bigs, but against smaller lineups I like Justin at the 4. The depth on the front line should allow us to play whichever 2 of the 3 bigs are playing well. That's of course assuming Hunter makes the jump and becomes a good option at the 3 next year. Would allow us to add shooting without sacrificing much size. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
