Hovadipo Posted May 13, 2019 Posted May 13, 2019 USPS beat me to this, but it deserves its own thread. According to Woj, Beilein has agreed to a 5 year deal with the Cavs. B1G fans rejoice! Hutch89, Stromboli, mamasa and 1 other 4 Quote

Capt. Crimson Posted May 13, 2019 Posted May 13, 2019 Next week: Michigan turns heel and hires Rick Pitino. The only available coach at this point. Father vs. Son in the same conference. Lol. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners LIHoosier, JaybobHoosier, Hutch89 and 2 others 4 1 Quote
LamarCheeks Posted May 13, 2019 Posted May 13, 2019 I just hope that at some point, he doesn't say that it's not about the money. Because it HAS to be ... Michigan is a much better job than coaching the Cavaliers! This is awful timing for the Wolf pups. To be searching for a coach in the middle of May -- ish! HinnyHoosier 1 Quote
HinnyHoosier Posted May 13, 2019 Posted May 13, 2019 I just don't get this move. Unless it's purely a money jump like Lamar said. Oy, that's just brutal. That's a loss for college basketball. But maybe he wanted out because he was tired of the horribly uneven playing ground.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners WayneFleekHoosier, JaybobHoosier and Deserthoozier 3 Quote

Popular Post BGleas Posted May 13, 2019 Popular Post Posted May 13, 2019 Why would it be a money jump? The guy has made a ton of money. He’s in his mid60’s, it’s his last shot at the highest level most likely. He doesn’t has to deal with recruiting, FBI scandals, etc. , etc. Ohreally, IUsafety, moyemayhem and 8 others 11 Quote

Now he doesnt have to go on recruiting trips and deal with all that stuff almost year round. BGleas, mdn82 and Hillsdale87 3 Quote

Popular Post Myrmidon76 Posted May 13, 2019 Popular Post Posted May 13, 2019 Sad to see him go. A top flight coach that made our conference and our conference teams better. Tough pill for the University I suppose, but if it's ok for the players to pursue their dreams, then it applies to the staff as well. Wish him well at his new opportunity. theriverpilot Posted May 13, 2019 Posted May 13, 2019 He would be one of the last names mentioned if you asked me to guess simply because his style fits the college game so well. Then again, I said the same thing about Brad Stevens. I hope Beilein succeeds there. Quote

LamarCheeks Posted May 13, 2019 Posted May 13, 2019 OK, after the shock wears off, here's the important question: Does Michigan have any shooters who would want to transfer that we can swoop in on? LOL! Quote
