Tipton said Dawson text him and pushed it back to 7:20 because he was meeting with Indiana coaches. It’s now 7:30 and still hasn’t started. Said they just talked in general, Ostrom asked about if he knows when his decision will be, which Dawson said by Nov 20, and they talked about how they would like to have him meet with Archie one more time before the decision-IU fans definitely showed the love in the chat, Tipton told Dawson whole he was waiting that over 80% of the people viewing wanted Dawson to go to IU and Dawson laughed and said he loved the fan base and mentioned that IU has the best fan base of all the schools recruiting him (just for those of you who like to run with things, Lander was watching the interview)-Marquette Visit: comfortable with staff, knows some of the players from HS-Minnesota visit: likes it being in his hometown, super close with Pitino and staff, has made lots of unofficials due to being 20 minutes from campus, feels a little pressure to stay home but has told people to respect his decision in the end-Memphis visit: That it was cool seeing Penny and Mike, said they don’t have to be coaching college but they are doing it to give back to the kids and to help them get to where they were (nba), attended during Pro Day so there were 90 NBA scouts during the visit-INDIANA VISIT: Said it felt like home, great relationship with Trey&Anthony as well as other current players, again mentioned the IU fanbase-not a lot of time was spent in visits to Kansas, UNC, and AZ just mentioned that he has a relationship with all the coaches and likes the tradition -said his most important things he’s looking for is relationship with the coaching staff and where they see him fitting in their system and how he will be used Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app KYHoosier, jepwatso, BtownStrength and 11 others 12 2 Quote

They’re also offering him Howard’s shots next year (which is obviously not going to happen, but no doubt it appeals to Garcia). Maybe it won’t come down to that in the end and we do land him, but those comments were pretty encouraging for Marquette IMO. HoosierAloha 1 Quote

I have no idea as to the culture and dynamics at Marquette, but I know what we have going for us: Phinisee TJD Brunk Leal Galloway Franklin Durham Race Damezi Smith Geronimo Hunter Those are without exception some smart, focused, likable future teammates.
