It’s been rough for sure but I’ll keep after it and hope the turnaround comes soon. Archie hasn’t just forgotten how to coach. Something isn’t right with the players tho, that’s for sure. I always point to the fact that MOST of this roster was brought in by Crean. At some point young people start to wonder about who or what they are playing for. It could be a bit of what’s happening. The decision to pull Rob, Juwan, and Romeo for the final 2min of the 1st was baffling to me. We had gotten some thing rolling with JMo and then PU goes on a 6point run so we pull those three and completely give away the last three possessions of the half. Yeah, Rob and Juwan had fouls, I get that, but still it was a complete give up IMO. If anything sub defense for offense. Crap, I just saw that Rob ended the game with the same 2 fouls too. Bennett turned us down. That’s how we arrived at Archie in the first place. This isn’t a better job than UVA anymore. How’s Marshall doing this season without top talent? I said it then if we botched this hire I don't think the program will get back, and each passing game looks more and more like we botched it in a laughable way.I said the same thing. We have no one that has shown that personality, in fact we have a lot of laid back guys (not a criticism of them, it's just their natural demeanor). Maybe Franklin can be that guy, or RP can become one. Quote
