WayneFleekHoosier Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 No surprise. Everyone's doing it that can afford it. System needs fixed somehow, someway. I was confident Arizona was doing it, just like UCLA, UNC, UK, Duke, on and on and on. In that landscape, Indiana was never going to be winners. What pains me the most is these other crooked @$$ programs are laughing at the few caught thinking they are clean. Get real. Popular Post WayneFleekHoosier Posted September 28, 2017 Popular Post Posted September 28, 2017 So.......Is Crean the whistleblower? LolMain schools involved had guys Crean was trying to recruit or was connected to in some way. Kenny Johnson, The Millers, Bruce Brown, Louisville, etc. Crean is vindictIve and petty. Wouldn't surprise me at all with all his time off and his "wrongful termination". You know he had tons of dirt. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners 323SGrant, pumpfake, kottke and 10 others 13 Quote

Popular Post BGleas Posted September 28, 2017 Popular Post Posted September 28, 2017 Just heard Jeff Goodman suggest Chris Mack as a replacement at Louisville. Just makes me think the more things change , the more they stay the same. Goodman said he'd be a good candidate because his wife is from Louisville and he's done such a fantastic job at Xavier. Really? Really? In this climate we're just going to recommend Chris Mack and not question how he's landed the recruits he has at Xavier? I have no idea if he's dirty or not, but I know Xavier has been in on a ton of top recruits the last few years. IUsafety, thebigweave, CR3AMnCR1MS0N and 6 others 9 Quote
Bailey7878 Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 Now we know why Sean Miller was such a great recruiter. He should he fired as well.I don't know how he could survive thisSent from my SM-J700T using Tapatalk Iugradman and Jam 2 Quote
Popular Post rcbowla Posted September 28, 2017 Popular Post Posted September 28, 2017 I hear a lot of Crean bashing through all of this. He was an awful "in game coach" that much is true, however if we come out of this clean then I think we owe him a lot more gratitude than he's getting. If he in fact did run a clean ship and we have nothing to worry about through all of this then he would be responsible for the opportunity given to IU to make a serious resurgence. Now if there were issues then all bets off and hammer the man. Just think we should lay off the cracks on him for now. mamasa, southsidehoosier, IUsafety and 26 others 29 Quote
Me So Hornsby Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 The Arizona news just confirms for me that more big boys are gonna drop in the next few weeks or months. There’s no way that this is happening at Zona and UL and not at the other schools getting top 25 guys constantly. College basketball is gonna look completely different very soon Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners HoosierMoore 1 Quote

I have a lot of respect for Davenport. He has a good thing at Bellarmine and competes for national titles there almost every year. Would hate for him to get in this mess just to get run off when the next new shiny coach comes along.Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners mobile app CR3AMnCR1MS0N, GloryDays, Tom White and 3 others 6 Quote

And I think everybody is more grateful of that than they probably have ever been before. But he was not a great coach, and I don't think the cracks were anything malicious. I think it was more the humor of crean being the one to break all of this looseSent from my LG-H900 using BtownBanners mobile app thebigweave, CR3AMnCR1MS0N, Hoosierfan2017 and 1 other 4 Quote

rcbowla Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 Wonder how much of a negative impact from a recruiting standpoint Sean's involvement will have with Archie. It certainly doesn't help but just how damning can it be? Quote
Yogi'sBicep Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 WKU landed a top 10 guy last year, hmmm Quote
Yogi'sBicep Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 If Arizona plays dirty, why would the #1 player in the country (2017) pass up big $$ to play in his home state to go to the other side of the country and play for Duke. Duke brought hone 4 of the top 10 from 2017. Other notable programs who got one of the top 10: Arizona, MIZZOU, Alabama. It's no surprise they all get paid -- I just can't see a kid passing up $$ in his state to go somewhere else for free. Brass Cannon 1 Quote
