AKHoosier Posted September 26, 2017 Posted September 26, 2017 Man I'm glad to not be a Louisville fan right now. Their boards are so sullen and gloomy, most fans just hope the school is allowed to keep their ACC membership Quote

Popular Post Dalton26 Posted September 26, 2017 Popular Post Posted September 26, 2017 Brass Cannon 0708 just said he got trolled and there's no mention of IU.. lmao "So far no mention to IU being involved and nobody on the inside is expecting a thing other than a commitment from someone from New Albany. Staff was already confident in getting him, now the other competition just eliminated itself "How many times is he going to claim to be in the know and completely lie/toy with people before they stop listening. He knows about as much as the present I just left in the toilet. CR3AMnCR1MS0N, reconmkd, VO5 and 8 others 11 Quote
woodenshoemanHoosierfan Posted September 26, 2017 Posted September 26, 2017 Maalik Williams from Fort Wayne is a 17 recruit and he is not necessarily a class individual. These players deserve what ever they get by going to No Morals U. There is a twitter pic of Bowen posing with a 7 series Beemer (yes a 7 series) too. Lyle and his Mustang before. rebelhoosier848891 Posted September 26, 2017 Posted September 26, 2017 Wow--huge news. How many more shoes will drop? UL deserves it--bye bye dirty birds! IU should be fine as I have to believe Crean ran a clean ship! We had our gripes with him-but that is one area I believe he did well! reconmkd Posted September 26, 2017 Posted September 26, 2017 I would say as the Lawyers and FBI start to turn the screws (I heard on a radio show charges could result in up to 20yrs in the slammer), those indicted, especially the one who worked at adidias and Nike, they will start singing like there is no tomorrow! We could be hearing about more and more schools involved for the next few months! I don't think the NCAA is going to be able to maintain the status quo and slapping schools on the wrist anymore! I bet there are some major programs shaking in their boots and making tons of phone calls tonight!Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners bmrin1 1 Quote
Popular Post Stuhoo Posted September 26, 2017 Author Popular Post Posted September 26, 2017 The post-arrest raid is a very very very big deal.Likely means that they didn't have the probable cause for a search warrant until someone flipped after being arrested today.Otherwise, the search would have been conducted contemporaneously to the arrests.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners ElectricBoogaloo, thebigweave, ALASKA HOOSIER and 9 others 11 1 Quote

I read the first 3 pages of this, and may have missed any entry after that, but does the fact that Arizona is involved bug anyone else a little bit? Even if Archie knew nothing (and I'm not suggesting he did), ya' gotta' think he's nervous for his brother, right? Naive to think some IU targets aren't in the know on some of this, even if not involved. Wow. I think anyone who is a fan of a big-time college basketball program has to be a little uneasy tonight. These kids all play against and know each other. It's hard for me to believe that they aren't pretty wired into what is going on. The more prevalent the cheating is, the easier it is to get caught up in it. It's the old "everyone is doing it so why not" argument. I have no reason to believe that Coach Miller is involved, but I admit I feel a little concerned. Old Friend and kbhoosiers 2 Quote

HoosierAloha Posted September 26, 2017 Posted September 26, 2017 Really seems like the coaches knew... Why was it such a surprise? And why did the NCAA do nothing? Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile appBecause the NCAA makes 80% (?) of their annual income from the NCAA tourney. If they actually could police their member institutions they would be biting the hand that feeds them. I have little doubt we'll see the NCAA either go away as the governing body or some major reform. They have little ability to enforce their own rules.
