mdn82 Posted October 31, 2018 Posted October 31, 2018 Am I the only one who thought his comments about MSU and UCLA were a little more ‘positive’ than his about Indiana? I’m NOT doubting that he commits to us (I still think he does), just wondering if others read that the same way. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Among his biggest takeaways from his MSU visit is the family atmosphere and the shared love between Izzo and former players. He follows up later by saying Indiana has the family atmosphere too...but they are even more like family to him because it's a roster full of many of the state of Indiana's best players who began to stay home since Archie's arrival. Archie doesn't have a long history of former IU players he's coached, so the similarities between Izzo's relationship with his players is not one which can be adequately compared. The takeaway from the UCLA visit is that he will be seen by scouts. Eh, so what? I believe the exposure of the Big 10 is far superior to the exposure of the Pac 12, and at least at Indiana he'll not only be seen by scouts but also by fans at the games. It started with, "I know it's going to be hard straying away from home." I didn't read this as, "I plan to stray." I read it as, "It will take a lot of convincing for me to leave home." biteoftheapple Posted October 31, 2018 Posted October 31, 2018 Archie is being paid to close here. You cannot miss on a prospect this close to campus. Just can’t.In my viewpoint, that is the exact reason you will miss on some that near. Some kids want to be away. Capt. Crimson and thebigweave 2 Quote

BGVille Hoosierfan Posted October 31, 2018 Posted October 31, 2018 Looks like the CB for Malik Hall is heavily trending MSU with his announcement tomorrow. This has to be good news for us...MSU most likely gonna get Isaiah Stewart as well. Possibly no room left for TJD and Brooks with Rocket Watts already committed.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners thebigweave and WayneFleekHoosier 2 Quote
WayneFleekHoosier Posted October 31, 2018 Posted October 31, 2018 Purdue really wanted Hall and expected to get him. I hope Stewart doesn’t go MSU. I’m hoping outside of the B1G although MSU seems to have an edge here. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Quote

Yeah, but wasn't Wilkes supposed to be a OAD? What happened there and what does that mean about the staff? Quote
AKHoosier Posted October 31, 2018 Posted October 31, 2018 If MSU lands Hall and Stewart, and we get Brooks and TJD, looks like it's IU/MSU/OSU at the top of the B1G for the foreseeable future. However I would never count out UM. And lol @ Purdue if they miss out on Malik Hall. He was their darling lately, but Izzo looks like he's going to cuck them once again. thebigweave, BGVille Hoosierfan, MemphisHoosier and 1 other 4 Quote
