Bowhunter Posted March 25, 2017 Posted March 25, 2017 I guess we have no choice but to support him but when Glass said what he said in the press conference, this is not what I expected. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using BtownBanners mobile app Hardwood83, Schreckbagger and RedsIUfan 3 Quote
KingPG21 Posted March 25, 2017 Posted March 25, 2017 Breathed such a huge sigh of relief that we can stop talking about Alford. He was the one guy we consistently talked about that I would have serious issues getting behind. The mediocre results in the tourney, the off the court stuff, the fact that we'd have so many issues getting him out if he really didn't pan out, since so many wouldn't want to because he played here. bizzle44, Hoosierfan2017, Walking Boot of Doom and 4 others 7 Quote

recker222000 Posted March 25, 2017 Posted March 25, 2017 Donovan, Marshall, SMiller were the big ones to me. Yeah though i never thought sean muller would happen and marshall sounds like a jerk from alot of posts. Donovan seemed great but a pipe dream mostly.Sent from my SM-J700T using Tapatalk Kepner and Jam 2 Quote

recker222000 Posted March 25, 2017 Posted March 25, 2017 I think he'd lead the conference in scoring if this happened. Did dayton play good defense? That could be a problem for jbj.Sent from my SM-J700T using Tapatalk ALASKA HOOSIER and Tom White 2 Quote
Dalton26 Posted March 25, 2017 Posted March 25, 2017 Everyone is entitled to their opinion on this hire. I will say, don't take it out on the admin or the new coach. Take it out on those attention whores over at 247 and on Twitter. They were the ones who sold us on the Donovan bs. Archie is a fantastic young coach and a tremendous recruiter. Yep and I warned everyone a thousand times that they didn't know a damn thing over there and some people didn't want to listen. All they wanted to do was drive their views up and it worked. Caught a few posters on here hook, line, and sinker. Tom White, Chris Nieman, GoIU8 and 1 other 4 Quote

HoosierAloha Posted March 25, 2017 Posted March 25, 2017 Good hire. Interesting that we went with a young up and comer but he could be the coach the next 30 years. Cautiously optimistic. thebigweave and KingPG21 2 Quote

theriverpilot Posted March 25, 2017 Posted March 25, 2017 Looks like our "Home run hire" turn into a bunt. Is say it's more of a line drive single that might be stretched into a double. Maybe a triple in a throwing errorSent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Kepner 1 Quote
