That kind of thinking is why our football program is historically garbage. I share this feeling. I'm getting to an age (mid 50's) where I feel that another lackluster hire may just mean never seeing my team pose a realistic threat for #6. There is absolutely no excuse for not making a significant upgrade to the coaching position. If not now, then when? Geometry Hoosier, HoosierCoop, ThompsonHoosier and 12 others 15 Quote

Hoosierfan2017 Posted March 1, 2017 Posted March 1, 2017 I finally feel confident that Crean's gone after this season. Good times are ahead of us at last. CR3AMnCR1MS0N, Hurryin'Hoosier317, ALASKA HOOSIER and 1 other 4 Quote

HoosierCoop Posted March 1, 2017 Posted March 1, 2017 It has probably been said repeatedly in this thread... Do we have a legit shot a Langford if a coaching change occurs? If so, that is all the justification you need!!!!!! Hurryin'Hoosier317, gfunk69, Kepner and 1 other 4 Quote

There seems to be several good options out there, it's up to Glass to land one of them. At the very least I'm hoping for a guy that coaches a watchable style of basketball. Hurryin' Hoosiers Posted March 1, 2017 Posted March 1, 2017 Yup, I think Painter was an IU fan growing up....but everyone has to make a living so must deal with being at Purdue. Quote
Hurryin'Hoosier317 Posted March 1, 2017 Posted March 1, 2017 New name popped up on 247 called BTowninsider. Not sure if he has legitimate sources or what, but says we should start getting excited. Says Crean will be gone and the excited part was in reference to who our next coach could be. Hopefully it's true. I'm probably reading into everything too much but man I want all of this to be true. Hoosiers96 Posted March 1, 2017 Posted March 1, 2017 Something I thought about this morning: The first round of the NIT is during IU's spring break, so students wouldn't be there if there happens to be a home game. Could mean good or bad things for the attendance Quote

Could mean good or bad things for the attendance It'll mean a lot of sitting, quiet fans, and an atmosphere that is not conducive to success for a CTC coached team.
