TOM CREAN FIRED

Recommended Posts

Any good coach could get 25 wins out of this team; Crean won't sniff that and for that I feel bad for the kids. They are being led by someone that has no business being the leader of Indiana basketball

Stop feeling bad for the players. They have every opportunity in the world to make a difference.

You feel bad for the players? They're the ones playing!?

yes, these are young kids. They were made promises. They aren't learning or being taught or something is amiss. They aren't being given the roster or tools to compete. It's a mixed bag, but yes, I feel bad for everyone embarrassing themselves including our coaches and University.

I almost feel like something is happening we don't know about. I don't know but something don't look right

This wouldn't surprise me at all.  It goes beyond a lack of leadership to an environment that doesn't allow for leaders to step up.  That's a toxic environment.  It needs to be fixed and quick.

The only reason we are in this situation is because we expected to have Guy Marc-Michel available as our big man and the NCAA disqualified him. We have zero control over that. It's unfortunate but we just have to get better and play at a high level while we wait for next year.

They were given an opportunity. It's their job to seize it. These kids are kids, but they want to be men playing in a man's league. Earn it.
