Well, they DID come to Indiana with an expectation of actually being coached and having an opportunity to learn how to play the game at a higher level. They are being cheated, IMO.

I agree with this. Just don't agree with the free pass.

Believe me, I'm on your side with Crean. He's failed to provide adequate coaching, but I'm not handing out free passes to the guys actually playing the game.

When Crean goes I wouldn't be upset to see half this roster go with him. They just don't get it.

Come now gentlemen. You're forgetting what Crean inherited, and that it's only been 7 or 8 years, (seems longer); that's barely enough time for him to turn things around. I think the fact that we stayed within 20 points of an average Duke squad is a true testament to Tom Crean's coaching ability.

not just tonight. Alcorn st all of Maui. Everything. But I agree 100 with you. Crean is bad most of us have known that for a long time but this team is making him look terrible

Firing Crean now would at least put the fanbase to rest and everyone could be 100% behind the team without the Crean distraction. I couldn't care less about the recruiting class at this point. Get a top coach and recruiting takes care of itself.

This has been my point all along. The pressure is extremely high right now. IU knows it which is why they took the Crean speech off the scoreboard our last game.

Glass will probably say something that sounds like support or we lose some more games and the pressure builds.

The only reason we are in this situation is because we expected to have Guy Marc-Michel available as our big man and the NCAA disqualified him. We have zero control over that. It's unfortunate but we just have to get better and play at a high level while we wait for next year.

 

Guy Marc-Michel? How many years ago was that? This team has 3 McD's burger boys... and this is the product Crean cooks up?
