First the admin that fired his sister is gone. Second, he said he wasnt ready for that big of a job at that point in his career. While I think he's a fantastic young coach and would likely be an upgrade over CTC, is there any mention or possibillity of him being a replacement candidate when Coach K retires? How keen is Duke on keeping a Coach K groomed coach as the HC (i.e. Collins, Capel, etc...) vs. an 'outsider'? Reason I ask is I was just made aware that Mike White's dad is the current AD at Duke, Kevin White, and has been the AD there since 2008. Quote

Yeah it's not a matter of if with Bennett but when will he become a coach of a blue blood school. Hopefully it's here. One of my buddies said he saw Dickie V at the UNC/Duke game last year with the caretaker and he was told it's his 'permanent chaperone' now. Quote
