Apathy.. this team does not excite me. It's not this game. I almost skipped the butler game, watched this one late.. didn't even watch the last 2 cupcakes. You can tell this team doesn't have it.

Glad I skipped overtime to watch Newkirk continue to be a hot mess. Who cares if he had "11 assists" against one of the worst d1 teams. Seriously, who cares. I'll be honest, even OG looks a little lazy at times. This team hasn't bought what Crean is selling.

Just like timeouts, Crean takes player fouls to the bus. The team is spiraling out, leave Rojo who is on fire, in the freaking game.. I mean, he is honestly our #2 defender behind OG afterall

The turnovers are a killer year after year and many tie them to "playing fast" but many of the turnovers have nothing to do with playing fast but rather poor decisions/IQ.

AND here, I've been worried all summer about NEXT season.......

This season is already a hot mess with 3 potential NBA players.

Speaking of OG.... I wish he'd jump the lanes for steals like he did last year. Mostly I wish he played with the same style as last season. TB started to play real basketball with 10 minutes left. Finally.

I can't describe my feelings towards this team/coach right now. Just sad how we piss games away.

The odd and frustrating thing is that I will not be shocked at all if we beat L'ville.

Crean has beat a ton of really good teams but as some poster recently stated he has not shown the capability of beating 5-6 decent teams in a row (hence the sweet 16 ceiling).

Rojo, De'ron, Juwan...

Definitely not Blackmon or Newkirk.. Bryant is charged but I'm not sure I'd consider him as high iq..

We have NO ONE on this team who can control the team. I'd say Rojo but it's just not his personality. Blackmon is still just out here trying to get his. You can tell that every time he has the ball in his hands. He is looking for nothing else.

JBJ 4/14 with 12pts and 2 TO'S and an all important missed wide the f*#k open layup and everyone continues to bash and put the blame on Newkirk. Saw how this was going to go when our first shot was a 25 footer by TB. Davis and Johnson were the only players that showed up. Whatever five we have out there, Davis should get 20min per game. When he is out there with TB, Bryant wants to play out top way too much. Would love to see Rojo, JBJ, OG, TB and Davis out there more together. Oh well, guess that's why I'm here on the couch!

Sounds like we have to play faster to make up for the 20 turnovers.  It's the Tom Crean way, can't control the ball?  Play faster, nevermind that a turnover is then more likely.

I've noticed that when we turn it over other teams just drive straight to the bucket. They know we do not play transition D at all and a turnover often leads to a layup on the other end.

Couple that with a lot of unforced TOs and you have a bad mix.

Sadly no one is immune. Rob, OG, Bryant, JBj - our best players, are all careless
