From Michael Niziolek at today's hearing in Monroe Co. Stephen Daley testified that he received no NIL during his first three seasons at Kent State and made $500,000 last season. Kellan Wyatt testified that he made between $50,000-$100,000 at Maryland and $300,000 in 2025. He said he would receive similar amount this year. According to his testimony, Sam Alexis made $400,000 at Florida in 2024-25 and $1.2 million last year for Hoosiers. Said he would make "somewhere under a million" this season.

To be honest a lot of us are STILL shell shocked of how well we are still doing. However, MOST of us are really beginning to realize that this NEW IU train is for real and here to stay. I’m really enjoying the ride, ….that’s for sure! Still, in the eyes of many, we still have not officially arrived and PARKED! Yeah, I didn’t phrase that well. I guess it’s the thought that we have Sokolov and both bigs that could potentially return if they desired. This move, to me, says quite a bit about where we project the roster to be in regards to those 3. As far as the Wabbington recruitment, who knows. The staff obviously has a good pulse on it now after his visit. He is a big that would like to play the 4 from what I hear.

I don't mean this in a snarky way, but is he likely to actually get minutes here? DDV's first two Euro bigs seemed like strictly practice players. Felix is committing much earlier in the cycle though. Would be nice if he can play. Wonder if any possibility of him joining the team in the event Sam is not eligible. Also, do we think this impacts Wabbington at all?

Seems like the NCAA has been getting some TROs or preliminary injunctions overturned at the appellate level. If the Monroe judge is going to actually issue a final order, I think that would be much harder for the NCAA to get appealed and overturned before football season is over. Same would apply to Wyatt and Daley should they lose. So I would think this judges upcoming ruling is going to be pretty important one way or another.

They're not. There was talk about how this season's defensive line might be more talented than last season's. And that was before Daley and Wyatt got the TRO.
