Cig said Albero was the one player he hated to lose. But he was also obviously not comfortable turning the offense over to him this year. I was hoping it would work out but I'll defer to Cignetti on all personnel matters. Cig is a savant when it comes to quarterbacks. Given the way he views the position, I wonder if we will ever have a qb developed in house become our starter.

Both Bones Jones and Ro Hardy have giant shoes to fill but thankfully, they had a full year of Aiden Fisher's work ethic to experience. Fisher is going to be the standard for the green dot and when it's all said and done, Coach Cig's IUFB will not only be known for QBs but also solid Mike LBs with high IQ.

I agree. I’m a defense guy and he was my favorite player. He literally defines “nose for the ball” and was always in good position. I’m glad we had a good portal because his shoes are big ones to fill.

CJ Carr is a very legit QB. ND is going to blow the doors off Wiscy IMO but I like the optimism.

We're going to see how much value he was for us this year. Some plays we're accustom to seeing just won't be there because of his absence. Both Fernando and Aiden were very special college football players and I believe will be just fine in the NFL.

Looking forward to seeing Louis Moore tonight. We've got to get used to seeing a good chunk of IUFB in the NFL. It's hard for me to adjust at the moment. LOL.
