  1. AZ Hoosier

    Prayer Thread

My grandson saw the surgeon this morning. They are doing the femur fracture repair on Thursday, and 6-8 weeks later they will do the ligament repair. The doctor called it a "horrific injury", and said that at his age, you generally get ligaments to pop or bones to break, but rarely both. Keep the prayers coming. Appreciate you all.

  2. Let's get this puppy going. FS1 will have Noah Reed (play-by-play) & Robert Smith (analyst) on the call for the game. ODU was 5-7 last season. Spread was 22.5 on Sunday. Preview & Game Notes Live Stats

  6. Beyond excited for Hoosier football and the start of IU fall sports. I really believe that barring injuries, we're looking at a 9-3 / 10-2 season. Unfathomable for the old IUFB! No self imposed limitations since Cig got to town. Let's smack these fools

  8. I won't be surprised if we don't cover the score. "The game's gonna be hard. I expect a really tough challenge from Old Dominion. We're going to have to play really well." -Coach Cig https://www.on3.com/teams/indiana-hoosiers/news/opposing-coach-qa-old-dominion-head-coach-ricky-rahne-previews-week-1-matchup-with-indiana/

    2025-2026 IUBB Schedule

I requested 4 tickets for a friend and there has not been any communication regarding whether my request will be fulfilled or denied. That's par for the course with off site events and typically even when informed that request can be fulfilled there is no indication about what price point the seats will be at. It's a bit of a grab bag unfortunately.

  20. Game week!!!! How tired are you hearing from your closest friends (some of them fans of IU sports) that IUFB was kind of a fluke last year and that this year will only be a 5 or 6 win season? This is the week where it all starts to finally shut all the naysayers up!

  21. It's nice that we can actually score goals now. It'd be even nicer if we'd stop falling behind 2-0.

  23. EXHIBITION Yes, it is a good early test but the fact is, it is still just an exhibition. Remember IU vs TN last year.

  24. Yea. KR was really good. Fernando probably won't match him in some aspects. My hope is Fernando can give us another dimension with his mobility, which can hopefully help us fare better vs. the top-10 defenses/teams we struggled against last year. He's got some big game experience and he was the most (or close to it) sacked QB last year. Our OL, running game, and coaching staff should be a whole new world for him. I can't wait to see to what extent all of that elevates his game this season...
