He's played pretty good at times in his career when given the chance but he's a backup big. And as a 2nd rounder, nothing won't wrong with that.

Because the Dior Johnson clusterf*ck continues to fascinate me, update: Played last year at Clarendon JC in Texas, made it through the year, and was a JCAA after getting all the domestic abuse stuff while at Pitt pled down to misdemeanors. He’s apparently now going to UCF to play for Johnny Dawkins. Dawkins is also bringing in Mikey Williams, Williams’ HS teammate who was also involved in the gun thing, and some kid who got kicked out of Syracuse. Dawkins is officially the most desperate coach I’ve ever heard of.

Really reflects poorly on Woodson to treat a guy who hired his kids the way he treated Eric. I don’t even like the Hysterics at all. I think they’re incredibly cringy (though their last episode was the most “normal” I’ve ever heard them). The picture we’ve been painted of Mike Woodson’s character… is not a pretty one.

Izzo is a magician. His ability to get away with being a sketchy to outright bad person while also being the whiniest, sore losing crybaby on the planet is truly remarkable.

As myself and many others here have commented, HH is a joke, and none of this is about defending them. It's about Woodson being such an angry, vindictive little man that can only elevate himself by denigrating others. He's a mediocre coach at best, and Indiana University, with all of it's dysfunction is stuck with him for at least another season. The big IF is "if he'd won more games...", but he didn't. He was stubborn, arrogant, and was unable to coach his way out of a paper bag - squeaking past cupcakes and getting blown out multiple times throughout the season. Since the Cooks and the Simons have bought him a team for the 24-25 season, let's hope he can get through the season without completely crapping the bed. I'm not convinced that he won't.

Isn't it obvious that if he were better at his job (winning games) people would give him a longer leash when he does/says things that are questionable? Yes this is questionable - how does it help the program to end the NIL relationship and discontinue their fan events? You think it's hilarious that they were made to fly out there to be told they weren't welcome? Wow. Interesting you assume people are just complaining about him no matter what he does... Seems to be the same mindset he has towards non-true fans. We just want him to show accountability and do his job better, since he's our coach for next year.

When given the opportunity, Bryant has shown he's more than capable of hanging with the big boys. As for Robinson, don't really know that much about him and don't really care.

What I find funny is what we criticize Woodson for, we as fans has those same characteristics. We say he is stubborn, bitter, he won't change is pretty much describes us as well no matter what side you are on. The people who wanted him fired are so bitter and won't move on and will be er change their minds no matter what happens next year. I made it clear what I wanted to happen after the season but it didn't happen. After a few weeks I got over it and moved on and it would be nice if everyone who just move on. What good does it do to keep rehashing the same thing over and over again. If we truly want this program to turn it around it would be best for everyone to get behind the program. The division in the fan base only makes things worse.

HH are NOT employees of IU or Woodson despite what Woodson and, apparently, you seem to believe. Making him come to Bloomington for this to happen was a power play Woodson used to to stroke his own ego.

I mean, if the bigs can dominate 1v1s and kick accurately and on time when doubles present, it should work. One of the few things I liked last year with our offense was some of the 2 man game, high/low stuff from Reneau/Ware. I hated practically everything else from pace, shot selection, movement, etc ABCs of basketball. Carlyle and Rice are getting a lot of hype. Please for the love of god play some uptempo, transition, fast paced full court hoop. Get 1 big down the court early like Zeller use to excel at. And that’s how you utilize your bigs and create tempo.

He's such a great kid. I think the Heat culture will be perfect for him to develop in. Going to be cheering him on. Could be our next All Star alum some day... has the talent for sure.

Ohhhh boy… his childhood baby sitter. Allegedly she was 26 and he was 18 when they started “dating.” Allegedly Kyle and gf sent an email to Kyle’s family cutting off all contact. Kyle’s brother and mother stated on social media that this is not normal or good. Is this one of the reasons Filipowski may have dropped in the draft? Youbetcha

Yes we have. Woodson is only half of that. But he’s sure got the “angry” and “vindictive” — in spades.

He could have begged them for another job for his kids, then fired them. He has a place in LA, why not fly out there.
