Little off topic, but just wanted to throw out how lucky we are as a fan base to have all the resources we do. BtownBanners is the best forum in my mind without a doubt, but we have so many awesome sites and reporters in addition. It’s stupid. I’ve been all over other schools boards and websites and they don’t hold a candle to the Hoosiers. Sure, that would cinch it. But that's more than we would need. If Romeo and Darius commit, AND (here's the key) Archie's system is effective to the point that it could produce a champion, we would have more than a few players with either the experience or the talent necessary to be rotation players on a team that has enough to win a championship: DeRon Juwan Romeo Darius DeVonte Clifton Jerome Justin That's a rough guess of eight, and doesn't include the possibility that a guy like CuJo, Race, Damezi, etc breaks out into a serious option. One senior, two juniors, two sophomores, and three freshmen. Pure speculation, of course, but it seems like that group would have enough IF things clicked.

I ain't scurred. It'll make his IU commitment that much sweeter. (^^^ Look at that optimism. I think Hoosier Guy spiked my kool aid)

Does Winston have any eligibility left? If Darius does end up in Btown we might have another great recruiter on the staff. There's a 2019 recruit down I-65 that he could help with.. If these guys commit it means they bought into Archie's vision. They would be the missing pieces. We all know how much HH made an impact on Darius, but what set this weekend up to be the finishing touches was the in home. Archie killed the in home and have heard it's what pushed them to the top and needed this past weekend to reaffirm how they felt. Only bad thing is I feel like people are forgetting we have a season to play. I get it though.

I just have a lot of confidence in Archie. I joined this board back in January. That first month and a half was completely different lol

I really want us to improve our player residency for this very reason.

I think he's almost made his pick (if not already), and is just looking to confirm it by doing due diligence in taking all officials and giving everyone an opportunity. In short, Self pushed hard for a commitment and it rubbed the Langfords the wrong way.

Unless Romeo does cancel the Kansas visit. At which point, I'm sure Jerry will switch to North Carolina.
