LamarCheeks Posted April 24 Posted April 24 RIP, Mongo ... One of the most colorful characters on a team full of characters. Was so much fun watching that 1985 squad. Glad he got to live to see his induction into the NFL Hall of Fame. Demo, mike vannice, MemphisHoosier and 2 others 1 2 2 Quote

Demo Posted May 22 Posted May 22 RIP Jim Irsay. Dude obviously had some pretty pronounced demons, but he always genuinely seemed to love the city and after seeing Stan Kroenke up close I really grew to appreciate that Jim cared more about winning than about maximizing the value of his team as a commodity. RIP Mr Irsay, but with how hard it's been to watch the White Sox falling apart from a playoff team so fast, maximizing a value of a team is something I wish Jerry Reinsdorf might take a cue from Kroenke's mentality. That commodity isn't winning or have much value Quote

Jim witnessed first hand what his dad's actions ended up doing to Baltimore and likely didn't want to have that same tarnished legacy even if it meant going to LA, Vegas, or whatever the hot city at the time was. If Bob didn't move the team to Indianapolis, the city of Baltimore would have seized the team through use of eminent domain. He did what he had to do 8bucks 1 Quote

bigrod Posted August 8 Posted August 8 Glass Richardson got hurt and had to leave the game?! What a shocker! I know it's just preseason, but sure Looks like another Ballard patented mediocre year. WayneFleekHoosier and J34 2 Quote
Demo Posted August 19 Posted August 19 Wow. I was never a Richardson fan at all. Almost choked when Holder reported that the Colts had him #1 overall on their board and would have taken him 1-1 over Stroud. But how underwhelming must he be up close in the building for them to quit on that toolkit in 2 years at 23? Never thought for a second he wouldn’t be the week 1 starter. 8bucks, WayneFleekHoosier and MemphisHoosier 3 Quote

TheWatShot Posted August 25 Posted August 25 Saw a comment on a Facebook post today that it's just too hard for the Colts to win anymore because the fans are so negative and don't support the players enough. Chances the person is an IU basketball fan? Quote

Chances the person is an IU basketball fan? These are pro athletes they don’t really care that much about the fans because next year they might have to attach themselves to another group of fans. And colts fans are negative because they are a trash franchise that somehow was gifted a generational talent QB to replace their old generational talent QB and they were too stupid to protect him to the point that he retired early.
