Brass Cannon Posted Wednesday at 07:46 PM Posted Wednesday at 07:46 PM That is a lot of money to spend on QBs when they have gaps elsewhere Quote

I mean, did Lanning really not know that Moore was returning when he went after Riola in the portal? Or did Moore change his mind? Can't wrap my head around this play, either way. kreigh8 1 Quote

It also begs the question now: if the 2nd guy in this draft really is Simpson or Chambliss or whoever it is, Jesus, what is the #1 overall pick worth now? Mendoza’s in his own tier probably 2 levels above everyone else. Him and then no other legit 1st rd guys. The Raiders could ask for the moon, though there’s no way you don’t just take him. str8baller 1 Quote

And since this is a college football thread (and I don't want to derail), I suspect we will select someone like Carson Beck or an equivalent. BannerVille 1 Quote

That pick could be worth a kings ransom if they want to try and build the team through the draft and sign a veteran QB. Shame the colts couldn’t have just sucked this year for the whole year WayneFleekHoosier 1 Quote

Idk I mean Raiola does have a great example for sitting a year before taking over right above him on the depth chart. I find it difficult to think his ego will allow this. There is also the question of his injury. Not sure what it was or how severe but maybe he wouldn't even be ready by next fall? Again, I don't remember what the injury was and it could've been a hang nail for all I know. Quote
