there's just no shot Raiola goes there to sit...

People were making fun of them, but there were Oregon people (not just fans) speculating exactly this a couple weeks ago. I don't understand it either, but somebody knew something.

Wow. Cue the Raiola transfer right?

It is kind of bizarre. I mean, did Lanning really not know that Moore was returning when he went after Riola in the portal? Or did Moore change his mind?

Can't wrap my head around this play, either way.

As a Jets fan, we will have a top 5 pick again next year.

Dread it. Run from it. Jets incompetence still arrives.

As a Mets fan , I feel for the Jet fan. At least the following year it’s more loaded and u still have your draft picks.

As a Hoosier basketball fan, I feel for you both.

It’s a crazy decision if you’re a top 5 pick. Good for Oregon though.

It really is. It also begs the question now: if the 2nd guy in this draft really is Simpson or Chambliss or whoever it is, Jesus, what is the #1 overall pick worth now? Mendoza’s in his own tier probably 2 levels above everyone else. Him and then no other legit 1st rd guys. The Raiders could ask for the moon, though there’s no way you don’t just take him.

Big thanks to the Colts and Cowboys for giving us picks for players we weren't utilizing well.

And since this is a college football thread (and I don't want to derail), I suspect we will select someone like Carson Beck or an equivalent.

That pick could be worth a kings ransom if they want to try and build the team through the draft and sign a veteran QB.

Shame the colts couldn’t have just sucked this year for the whole year

Idk I mean Raiola does have a great example for sitting a year before taking over right above him on the depth chart. I find it difficult to think his ego will allow this. There is also the question of his injury. Not sure what it was or how severe but maybe he wouldn't even be ready by next fall? Again, I don't remember what the injury was and it could've been a hang nail for all I know.
