Michigan has its man: Two days after Jim Harbaugh bolted to the NFL and the Chargers, the national-champion Wolverines promoted offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Sherrone Moore to head coach, school sources tell ESPN. Moore went unbeaten during the four games in which he replaced Harbaugh last season. Now, he replaces him as Michigan’s head coach on a full-time basis.

Good luck to him, I guess, he’s going to need it.

Sources: Can confirm Sports Illustrated report that Tennessee is under NCAA investigation. The investigation is tied to Name Image and Likeness violations.  The investigation puts Tennessee in the crosshairs as a repeat violator from recent NCAA ruling in July of 2023 from violations from former coach Jeremy Pruitt’s tenure. Tennessee’s argument in the case will be tied to vagaries in NIL rules.

Former Boston College HC Jeff Hafley takes DC job for the NFL Green Bay Packers.

Last night SVP's 1 Big Thing talked about Why the current NIL is unsustainable (Unlimited and unregulated free agency). I think he hit the nail on the head. Especially the deep pockets with old money down south.

Bingo... he's not wrong.

OSU going from status quo (for them, which is a higher level than anyone but like 4 other schools) to "we're going all out trying to win this year" is going to be fascinating to watch. They seriously could 30-piece their entire schedule up to the playoffs.

Sure, but are they in the final four schools for JuJu Lewis?

Remember these words of wisdom when assessing these clearly (possibly) inferior programs:

  • Curt Cignetti, "Purdue sucks, but so does Michigan and Ohio State."
  • Yarden Garzon, "I traveled 5,000 miles to say 'f*ck Purdue."

In these trying times, these two great philosophers are our beacons of clarity.

I'd find it more fascinating if they were the ones getting 30-pieced every week, but I've resigned myself to living in a world where comeuppance for OSU fans means losing twice in one year.

Probably the best they could do. It's rough when your big name HC takes a demotion to OC just to get away from the job.

If you can’t beat ‘em, join em!

Taking a quick peek at FB and see a B1G Network post about UCLA's new football coach.

I initially think to myself: What the hell do we care about UCLA?

Then I remember ...

This is gonna take some getting used to!!!

We're going to the Rose Bowl this year!!!!
