Drink’s agent is The Man. This is the 4th  extension in his 6 years based on 2 very good years, 1 ok year and 3 thoroughly unremarkable ones. And he also pulled one of the all time agent okey dokes by convincing the Mizzou money guys that Drink was THIS CLOSE to taking the LSU gig in ‘21 when anyone with enough sense to get out of the rain knew that was nuts. I imagine he was able to leverage Penn St the same way.

Washington HC and Florida alum Jedd Fisch apparently emerging as the front runner for the UF job. Head coaching record of 31-32. Gator nation will NOT be enthused if this is the choice.

They'll grow to appreciate him. His career record is drastically thrown off by 1-11 first year at Arizona taking over for Sumlin who was 0-5 in 2020 and in 2019 4-8. They were decimated coming out of COVID and by year 3 they won 10 games. Went to Washington after DeBoer left and took most of the talent with him/portalled out in general. He is a builder. Record improves each year. UF could do a hell of a lot worse IMO.

I'd be happy to see Fisch out of the B1G.  Coming out of DeBoer's crater, Fisch was building something special, and I'm not sure the next UW coach will have the same success.

Fisch is solid. He’s really close to having Washington humming, but has had 1 foot out the door since he landed in Seattle. If he brings Demond Williams with him and recruits at the same/similar level to Billy, Florida will be in really good shape really soon. He’s also an alum and knows what he’d be getting himself into there which is part of the battle. 

Was reading they’re looking at Sumrall too. That guy is an absolute ball coach. Whoever ends up with him will be sitting pretty.

A&Ms loss last night in my opinion secured both OSU and Indiana byes. If Bama wins today and next week vs Georgia I could see both OSU and Indiana as the top 2 seeds

Probably should be 1/2 regardless outside of a blowout either way next weekend.
