bhaggard89 Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 I would love to see lineup of Hartman Davis TB Og and one guard. Think mismatches everywhere. Defensively we would be really good I believe throw jbj as the guard and we can still score a lot. Could be the unc team from this year I don't like this lineup at all. JBJ isn't the one I'd trust as the ball handler. Hartman and JBJ would be a liability on defense. TB coming back helps no one more than Davis. He's going to be best suited as the first big off the bench. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners HoosiersLoveBanners, ALASKA HOOSIER, HoosierAloha and 1 other 4 Quote

AKHoosier Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 Such big news. I love the versatility of our front court next year. With Bryant back, I wouldn't mind seeing us add Spike Albrecht now, as I'm not really sure we need to find a 5th year big anymore. However, I'd be fine trying to find a freshman or transfer big man to be able to practice against Bryant and Davis every day, in preparation to take the reins whenever Bryant does leave. Quote
Bittersince87 Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 PG- Robert Johnson SG- Blackmon (unless he doesn't play defense) SF- OG ( he's already better than Troy) PF- Deron Davis C- Thomas Bryant Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Hoosierfan2017, SWEETLEMONbrown and CrossboneIU22 3 Quote

I'm not sure I'd go after another freshman at this time. We should have a good starting 5 with a solid backup at almost every position. If Troy leaves we only have one scholarship available. Depending on how the coaching staff feels about the point guard situation I would go after an athletic wing. 2017 is a talented instate class and we need 3-4 scholarships to give out. Hartman graduates and TB most likely leaves for the pros. If Troy stays or we get a grad transfer that is another available spot. I have a good feeling we land a few of our top targets in the 2017 class. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Hoosiers219, IUsafety, WayneFleekHoosier and 3 others 6 Quote

MadAboutIndiana Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 Thomas Bryant is special, folks. You only get to do college once. The NBA isn't going anywhere; let the chips fall where they may as it relates to professional prospects and millions of dollars. There *is* more to it than money. theriverpilot Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 I see that Freddie McSwain is virtually a 100% lock for IU. It'll be really interesting seeing him with that rotation too. Quote
