Me So Hornsby Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 He doesn't have anything right. You can't trust a Crystal ball until after a recruit announces. These expert tools are useless Yep. These guys could have info that we haven’t seen from any of our insiders. Or maybe they don’t know anymore than what we do. These are guesses at the end of the day. Until we hear it from the player, nothing is done. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Fulkme15 1 Quote

WayneFleekHoosier Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 At least for me, I have hope that Devonte Green can be our PG moving forward. Phinisee will still be a backup anyway. And we won't have to worry about the oversign. Romeo Langford gets full court press for Starting 2 spot. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners cljones1979 and janaslama 2 Quote

HoosierHoops1 Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 Everyone freaking out now about Crystal balls is the same reason small-minded sports guys have changed their Crystal balls. Highly influenced and have no real knowledge or confidence. HoosierAloha, Dalton26, thebigweave and 3 others 6 Quote
AKHoosier Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 So are these crystal ball guys switching their picks to Vandy from IU? Or were they on other schools and just picked Vandy? Quote

WayneFleekHoosier Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 Has Darius committed to Vanderbilt yet?Maybe, maybe not. Just putting a 'what if' scenario out there if the CB swoon has merit. My gut says it does, but until Meyer flips I'll hold a little piece of the dream. Like I've said before the Phinisee commitment never made sense to me (if we were going to get Garland). When rumors swirled that we were leaders I was as shocked as anyone. It makes more sense to me that we wouldn't get Garland so I've always kinda expected it. I'll be happy to be surprised but if not, DGreen gives me hope for the immediate future. Moreso than Phinisee. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners mobile app Quote
AKHoosier Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 lol so the three guys who switched their pick to Vandy are Andrew Slater, Brian Flinn, and Eric Hampford. Andrew Slater: 495/653 - 75% Brian Flinn: 182/304 - 59% Eric Hampford: 50/92 - 54% I'm not getting worked up yet. That said if Jerry Meyer changes his pick from IU then I'll start to get worried. kbhoosiers, Hoosier1984 and lillurk 3 Quote

Hoosierfan2017 Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 If he goes to Vandy it probably won't be for basketball reasons, it'll be because he wants to be close to his family. In that case there's nothing we can really do. Stromboli, IUsafety, lillurk and 1 other 4 Quote
MikeRoberts Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 True. The family probably knows it is 10x easier for Drew than Archie. Drew has done an awesome job. Props to him. That's not good... that means it will be 10x harder for the family to see Darius play at IU vs vandy Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Quote

Popular Post hoosierpap Posted November 2, 2017 Popular Post Posted November 2, 2017 Just now, Iugradman said: How is he going to handle being in the NBA then? Can't go home to mommy every night when you are in the big boy league. I've been largely absent to this thread...but that has to be one of the more ignorant takes I've seen here. Maybe his two friends who he plays bball with who are going to Vandy for FB mean something to him? Maybe he realizes he'll be on NBA road trips the rest of his life? Maybe his current family and social life is important to him and he realizes it'll be strained sooner rather than later? Come on, man.
