He's definitely played it as close to the vest as possible.   Reminds me of the Cody Zeller recruitment.

Why is everyone making such a big deal about Shittu? There has been no inclination these two are a package deal. Also, on the same token I don't get the thought of 'we either get both Darius and Romeo or neither'. Rarely do package deals work out and there also hasn't been that strong of a sentiment that these guys are dying to play together outside of them listing the same schools. In the end, I am still optimistic we get both though!

I think what everyone is lost in is that this kid had said all along he wanted to make a decision before the 14th. Wednesday would've been after his first game so my guess is they were able to find a time now to squeeze it in before his first game. Regardless I am still on team IU here I believe deep down still that is where he is going.
