Alford Bailey Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 That was kind of a weird injury with Juwan. Kinda like he thought it was way worse than it was or something. ALASKA HOOSIER, HoosierAloha, Crimson and Cream and 2 others 5 Quote
hoosierpap Posted March 2, 2016 Author Posted March 2, 2016 Fischer definitely downplays it here: Maybe a bit before the 11 min mark.. https://soundcloud.com/1070-the-fan-1/0302-gbj-seg5-don-fischer Edit: Juwan Morgan that is Napleshoosier, USMCHoosier and lillurk 3 Quote
HoosierAloha Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 That was kind of a weird injury with Juwan. Kinda like he thought it was way worse than it was or something. Watching it after the fact, it appears JMor thought it possibly separated again while it might have just been a stinger. It probably didn't hurt any less but the length of time to heal is probably significantly less time. Really cool seeing RoJo on the bench keeping JMor's head up. Miller'sTheMan Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 Good to hear that Morgan isn't hurt too badly. He's been a nice piece off the bench for us. We all know how good he is on the defensive side of the court, but I saw somewhere that the last 4 games he has averaged 6 ppg for us as well. Hoosier DaDa and HoosierAloha 2 Quote
MartintheMopMan Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 JMor had an MRI and full evaluation last night, so anything that happens today or is news from today should be fairly reliable without much risk of suddenly changing. I am glad he is doing well and excited to see him in his first Tourney. Maybe we'll see him... nope. Never mind. Was going to comment about the possibility of a JMor v. Shake match-up in the Tourney but, I guess not. Sorry Shake! Enjoy the NBA grimes! HoosierHoops1 and ALASKA HOOSIER 2 Quote
AKHoosier Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 Even if Robert Johnson heals his ankle enough to play Sunday, I'd rather he sit out until the NCAA tournament because he's supposedly been dealing with an ongoing groin injury most of the season. Hopefully a little over 3 weeks off will get his body right, we're going to need him. HoosierRich, Naturalhoosier, Josh and 1 other 4 Quote

Yeah, if he's >75% I want him playing at least Niego minutes each game. I don't like the idea of a basketball player taking a 3-week break during the season. Especially given the rust RoJo developed after his last injury. HoosierAloha, Naturalhoosier and ALASKA HOOSIER 3 Quote

Popular Post Lt. John McClaine Posted March 4, 2016 Popular Post Posted March 4, 2016 I love our Freshman, and Juwan has pleasantly surprised me this last month. It's more than him playing sound Defense or grabbing rebounds, but for me it's that Juwan typically makes the right Basketball play. He doesn't force things, makes the right pass, moves without the ball, etc. After watching Hanner, Hollowell, and others that have played the 4 spot for IU, that goes a long way with me.
