johnsoniu Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 Michael Irvin whispering like he's on the 18th at Augusta. I didn't think his volume went below 11. ccgeneral and HoosierAloha 2 Quote

LIHoosier Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 40 yd dash about to start, Suds is wearing #16. They're all wearing sprinters shirts/pants. Why don't these guys run in pads so its more realistic to an actual game? HoosierAloha, ALASKA HOOSIER, ccgeneral and 1 other 4 Quote

IUfan_Charlie Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 He's looked pretty bad in drills, bad footwork, overthrowing people. Quote
Naturalhoosier Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 Wow. His combine numbers were terrible. His stock definitely fell after this weekend. :( Quote

Naturalhoosier Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 suds? lol I don't know. Considering the thread is titled "Nate Sudfeld NFL combine updates" it's possible. :103: :farting_smiley: It didn't help that he only participated in two events also. HoosierAloha and WayneFleekHoosier 2 Quote

jmsgws Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 Wow. His combine numbers were terrible. His stock definitely fell after this weekend. :( I have read a lot, that no one really expects him to get drafter in the top 1/2 of the draft. No one is predicting him to be more than a career back-up. Maybe we have been letting our hoosier support cloud our judgement on just how good he is. :( Naturalhoosier 1 Quote
akhosrof Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 I have read a lot, that no one really expects him to get drafter in the top 1/2 of the draft. No one is predicting him to be more than a career back-up. Maybe we have been letting our hoosier support cloud our judgement on just how good he is. :( I think even Hoosier fans realized Nate is a developmental NFL prospect. He played his entire college career out of the shotgun, there is going to be an adjustment period for Nate learning to take snaps under center. It is even more difficult for taller guys to stay compact in the drop back because of all the moving parts. All of this while going through reads. It is a brand new timing and decision making process, and if the footwork isn't right, there will be accuracy issues. Where Nate is going to shine is in the team interviews: displaying his football intelligence and how genuine of a person he is. He has a big arm and a large frame he still hasn't grown into yet. He also has some excellent game film and production against top competition. A team will take him in the later rounds and he'll either be a third QB or a practice squad QB his first year. After a year in an NFL film room and workout program, anything could happen. HoosierAloha and Naturalhoosier 2 Quote
