(2018) SG Romeo Langford - INDIANA HOOSIERS

So having 3 potential 1st rounders isn't that good StuHoo? We haven't had 3 picks in a draft let alone the 1st in well maybe ever. Moore is 22nd on ESPN's mock in 2019 and Langford is a top 10 player. Garland will probably stay 2 years but he could leave after one. Morgan has NBA potential as well as Davis. Throw in some good role players and I'm confused why it's that hard to see honestly lol. Victor was great as well as Cody with some role players but Yogi wasn't YOGI that year. Plus one huge difference....Crean and Archie. Also a Sweet Sixteen which is what they accomplished should be a decent yr in terms of expectations.

As I'm eating a strom right now I see very good things in our future. There seem to be good vibes everywhere and an electricity already in the air around campus. I think our future is so bright we need to wear two pairs of sunglasses. :-)

Nothing we haven't heard before, but an increase in pro IU chatter from scouts/insiders for all three (Romeo, Garland, TJD). Chances of Romeo deciding in the fall have gone from nonexistent to slight. This weekend is big!

“There seems to be a growing belief among national insiders that Indiana can land both Romeo Langford and Darius Garland.
With Romeo there seems to be an increasing consensus that Indiana provides him with a lot of offensive opportunities as a freshman that he might not get at some of the competition.
While Langford is still publicly on a spring signing timetable, there is some soft chatter that the potential of Langford deciding prior to the spring should not be completely discounted. We’ve been told to at least consider the door cracked open.
The first step may be a cut down to three schools, something that is already out there as a real possibility here after his fall visits. Those will be completed after a trip to Kansas next weekend.
Right now the smart money might be on Indiana, North Carolina and Kansas, if he indeed takes that step.
With Garland you often hear "I think he'll pick Indiana but I can still see him going to Vandy." -- In other words still seems to be a two horse race for the point guard. Garland's family seems really enthused about his official visit this weekend.
Garland's only other lengthy stop in Bloomington was for a Senior Day game with Maryland back in 2016. That was a raucous crowd as IU had just won the Big Ten regular season championship and it was Yogi Ferrell's final game in Assembly Hall.
Tomorrow's crowd should be a big, enthusiastic group, so while Garland's two visits have been very spread apart, they're both going to showcase a real difference between the Hoosier program and Vandy in terms of fan support, spotlight and so on.”

If we get both Romeo & Garland that would put us over one scholarship so something would have to give. So who transfers? We would have like 6 guards at that time so my guess is one of Jones, Durham or Green transfer. My hope is it won't be Green though
