Correct me if I'm wrong, but all I have heard is the chuck Martin snippet that said he would steer bryant and og to sign with asm if they could get Bowen, but I don't remember anything about money involved. That's fairly grey area, but that's not openly discussing 100k for a recruit...if that is all IU has going on, then it isn't terrible. Disappointing yes, especially after the circumstances crean took over.

I believe the email in question was between two ASM agents, basically said that they’d shop Bowen to IU if IU would influence OG and TB to ASM.
Nothing about whether IU was interested, but it’s certainly not a good sign that ASM thought Chuck was worth reaching out to.

Yes you are right. I misread that somehow...not a good sign for chuck being a target but then again maybe they had a number/connection at every big 10 school? And the fact this is just one agency...

The weirdest part about Chuck Martin and Brian Bowen thing is now that Martin is at South Carolina so is Bowen.

Bowen supposedly choose them because of Chucky so if we really wanted him and did cross the line of entering the gray are, Bowen wouldve seriously considered us yet we were barely even mentioned throughout his entire recruitment.

University 6 was hardly mentioned in his recruitment until coach 3 (?) magically landed his easiest 5* recruit.
